Women’s Day |
|
The Uvongo Team decided to get sentimental with our female guests this Women’s Day. We had green gift boxes tied with a sweet note for the ladies, as a way to remind them to love themselves, because they are beautiful and perfect in their own way.

Heritage Day |
With our rich and diverse South African culture, it is no surprise that Heritage day is a favourite among our multicultural Uvongo Family. This year, our Housekeeping ladies dressed to impress with their beautiful cultural regalia, and they were all certainly pleased to have represented their respective backgrounds.

Boerie and Beer Days |
|
We hosted Boerie and Beer Days during the first two weeks of October to treat guests arriving at the Resort, and they were a big hit! Each guest arriving at the Resort was served a boerewors roll and a refreshing cold drink or beer for the journey they had travelled to visit us. Everyone from our Team helped and our guests truly appreciated the warm welcome.

There is a quote by William Arthur Ward that says, “Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgivings, turn routine jobs into joy, and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.” With these words in mind, we strive to show our dedicated Team how much we value them.
Joyce was our star Housekeeper for the month of October and, to express our appreciation for the hard work she puts in to ensure that the Units are spic and span for our guests, we treated her to a finger-licking meal from KFC.
