In March, Little Eden welcomed a new and adorable member to its diverse family: a baby zebra! This fuzzy foal immediately captivated the hearts of visitors and staff alike as it pranced around on its spindly legs. We’re lucky to have several zebras at our Resort, and to a casual observer, they may all look similar. However, here's an interesting fact: just like how every person has unique fingerprints, no two zebra stripes are exactly the same. Even though the zebra species share general stripe patterns, each zebra has its own distinct pattern. Scientists believe that these stripes serve a social purpose by helping zebras recognise and distinguish one another. |
