As spring breathes new life into the bushveld and summer arrives, we are reminded of the endless beauty and excitement that Monateng Safari Lodge has to offer. The past few months have been filled with adventure, relaxation, and shared moments of joy. From thrilling wildlife encounters to peaceful sunsets, we continue to create memories that embody the essence of Monateng – a place where nature meets tranquillity.

As we step into this vibrant season, we invite you, our cherished Shareholders, to once again immerse yourselves in the wonders of the African bushveld. Whether it's enjoying a leisurely game drive or simply unwinding in your home-away-from home, we’re committed to making every visit an unforgettable experience. Let’s take a moment to reflect on all the exciting developments that have taken place in the past six months

Exciting Upgrades & Renovations

We’re thrilled to announce a number of exciting upgrades across the Resort!

The chess and checkers pieces have been replaced with brand-new ones.

The crazy mini golf courses received its annual sand service to keep it in top shape.

The tennis court has been fully refurbished for a fresh new look.

We’ve completed 22 of 28 units in our comprehensive maintenance and deep-cleaning program, including painting, carpet washing, and refurbishing of furniture. The team are dedicated to ensuring your stay is as comfortable as possible.

Wi-Fi is now available in all chalets! We’re still making a few adjustments, but we’re excited to add more convenience to your stay.

New Features for More Fun!

Kickboards are now available at the pool to enhance the swimming experience for children and senior guests.

Don’t miss the chance to try out the newly added arcade machines in our Games Room!

A big shout-out to our Housekeeping Team, who has been nominated for the RCI Top Housekeeping Award! Your dedication does not go unnoticed.

A big welcome to Danelle Nortje, who joined our Reception Team on September 23rd, 2024. We are delighted to have her on board and look forward our future together!

Auspicious Awards & Accolades

We’re happy to share that Monateng Safari Lodge has maintained its RCI Gold Crown Status.

Additionally, we’re now ranked as #2 out of 49 lodges in Pretoria on TripAdvisor. Thank you to all our guests and valued Shareholders for your wonderful reviews!

Celebrating Special Occasions

Mother’s Day

Each unit received a gift-wrapped plate with cupcakes upon arrival. Special games were added to the entertainment program which included, Mom vs Mom challenges, Mommy movie day, Create a Mother’s Day Bouquet card, Mother’s Day balloon challenge and Mother’s Day Hula Fun.

Women’s Day

Each unit received a bouquet of handmade cupcakes upon arrival. Special games were added to the entertainment program such as, Women’s Day crafts, Women’s Day Balloon cup challenge, Women’s Day Fill the bucket, Women’s Day minute to win it and Women’s Day Balloon toss.

Father’s Day

Each unit received a Happy Father’s Day mug filled with Marshmallows. Fun filled games were added to the entertainment program to celebrate Father’s Day. Games included a Father's Day beer competition, Father’s Day balloon toss, create a Father’s Day card and Dad vs Dad challenges.

Heritage Day

Each unit received a gift upon arrival, which included a tong and a box of fire lighters to celebrate Heritage / Braai Day. The entertainment program was enhanced with special activities, including a Bring and Braai, Safari Sports, and classic games like tug-of-war, dominoes, pick-up sticks, and Bingo.

All Things Nature

Enjoy a guided game drive and see some of South Africa's magnificent wildlife.

Be sure to book your spot at the Le Fera bar.

Love reptiles?

Join our Crocodile Tours on Wednesdays and Saturdays for a unique experience.

Take a stroll on our scenic walking trail, led by our friendly guest relations Team.

These tours are complimentary and offered twice a week.
