We can’t believe we're halfway through the year already! The first half of 2024 has been bustling with activity, filled with the joyous comings and goings of families and friends, with each departure marked by smiles that linger in our hearts. It’s this holiday spirit that makes our Resort come to life. And as winter draws near and the leaves begin their colourful transformation, we’re eager to get cosy and reminisce about the shared experiences and highlights over the past
half-year. Allow us to whisk you away in this edition of “Little Tales”!

Little Eden is truly a nature lover’s paradise. There are hiking trails, waterfalls, sunsets, and rainbows—a beautiful array of natural wonders to explore and enjoy. Little Eden guests can immerse themselves in the tranquillity of the surroundings, breathing in the fresh air, and marvelling at the stunning scenery. Hiking, discovering hidden waterfalls cascading into pools, and witnessing breath-taking sunsets painting the sky in a myriad of colours are truly magical experiences. And catching a glimpse of a rainbow arching across the sky adds an extra touch of wonder to the already enchanting scenery. Nature truly has a way of captivating our hearts and rejuvenating our spirits.

Little Eden has been buzzing with activity, with both completed and ongoing projects aimed at improving the Resort for guests. Here’s what we’ve been up to:

Wood Fired Hot Tub
A wood-fired hot tub was installed to add to the Resorts’ charming blend of relaxation and natural ambiance.

Load-shedding Emergency Lighting
Emergency load-shedding lights have been installed in each unit.

Unit Painting

All units are in the process of being repainted for a refreshed look and feel.

New Curtains
(In progress)
Some units, with more to come, have received new curtains for a fresh new look, feel and style.

The Little Eden Team continues to devote themselves to crafting an atmosphere where unforgettable holiday memories are made. Here's a glimpse into their recent endeavours:

Christmas 2023

Ah, Christmas! A time filled with warmth, joy and, cherished moments. The Reception was beautifully decorated with red and white accessories, setting the festive scene. Upon check-in, guests were welcomed by cheerful staff dressed as elves and received a secret gift from Elfie the Elf, to be opened on Christmas Day. Little gestures like these truly make a difference and add to the holiday spirit.

New Year

Bringing in the New Year is always a special time, filled with hope, excitement, and the promise of new beginnings. The Reception was decorated, ensuring a warm welcome for guests and inviting them to join the celebrations. And what could be more perfect than kicking off the New Year with an open-air movie night and poolside vibes at Little Eden? Laughter echoed, memories were made, and grins stretched from ear to ear as we welcomed 2024 together in style!

Valentine's Day

On Valentine's Day, guests were greeted with gifts and delicious treats, setting the stage for a day of pampering and love-filled celebration. The excitement and joy as they arrived created an atmosphere brimming with warmth and hospitality.

Easter Weekend

The Easter bunny paid a visit to Little Eden, spreading cheer with hidden surprises and ensuring that everyone felt the Easter spirit during their stay! Easter egg hunts were the highlight, with colourful decorations adorning the Resort and creating a joyful atmosphere for all. And of course, no Easter celebration would be complete without indulging in chocolate eggs.

Mother's Day

On Mother's Day, our Resort created a delightful and memorable experience for all the mothers. Upon check-in, guests were welcomed by the beautiful decor setup at the Reception. Each mom was treated to delicious savoury snacks and a luxurious vanilla sugar scrub, setting the tone for a day of pampering and joy.

RCI AWARDS
Little Eden has proudly held onto its RCI Silver Crown Status once again! The Resort also won the title for top check-in and check-out in the small to medium Resorts category, and received nominations for top housekeeping and top Resort maintenance.

GUESTREVU AWARDS
We are excited to announce our entry into the GuestRevu Guest-Rated Excellence in Accommodation and Travel (GREAT) Awards, hoping to be crowned a GuestRevu GREAT for 2024! Our motivation for participating is to showcase how wonderful your home-away-from-home is and to highlight our commitment to delivering exceptional service to our guests.

It's always wonderful to hear that the staff at Little Eden, from maintenance to housekeeping, front office, entertainment, and shop attendants, are consistently recognised for their friendliness and willingness to go above and beyond for guests. The dedication and hospitality displayed by the staff reflect the values and commitment of Little Eden to providing exceptional service and ensuring guest satisfaction. Whether it's assisting with maintenance requests, ensuring cleanliness and comfort in guest accommodations, providing helpful information at the front desk, or creating memorable experiences through entertainment and shopping opportunities, every member of the Team plays an important role in the success of the Resort.

We are reminded that the staff are not just employees but ambassadors of hospitality, embodying the spirit of warmth of our nature lover’s paradise. Thank you to the staff for their commitment!

Dirt Dash 2024

The first-ever Avenir Vision Dirt Dash Gravel Racing Series launches on 29 June 2024 at the Legends Adventure Farm & MX Track. Participants will tackle trails that are unique to LegendsMX, where the terrain is steeped in Anglo-Boer war history. As they pedal through, participants will be treated to picturesque views of the veld and its wildlife.

Cullinan Champagne, Chocolate & Gin Fest

Get ready to treat your taste buds at this year's event on August 3, 2024! Delight in a delicious tasting session showcasing the best locally made MCC, Craft Gin, and mouth-watering handcrafted chocolates. Guests will get to try out a range of MCC and Gin flavours, along with indulging in some impeccably made chocolates.
