The White-breasted Sunbird is a small but stunning bird. With its iridescent feathers shining in the sunlight, it adds a touch of brilliance to any environment it is in. This tiny avian gem, characterised by its snowy white chest and shimmering green and blue hues, is definitely a favourite among birdwatchers and nature enthusiasts alike.

The Cape Starling, a common sight in the Reserve, is a captivating bird with its black feathers and metallic sheen. Its distinctive yellow eye-ring adds a pop of colour to its sleek appearance. Whether foraging for food or showing off its fancy flying tricks, this bird never fails to impress visitors with its charm.

Some Trees have been cut down and chalet roofs have been cleared of all leaves.

Cupboard latches have been installed to lock the linen and chemical buckets cupboard.

The kitchen and bathroom ceilings in the units were repainted.

The main gate fountain was repaired and sealed.

Preparing to replace the water pipes across the Resort.

The bath tub in unit 4 was replaced, with bath tubs in other chalets yet to be replaced.

The main gate fence was repaired and repainted.

All the unit walls and doors are being repainted. Window frames and waterpipes is also being repaired and repainted.

The Festive Season was a lively affair at the Resort! Laughter filled the air as children played and spread joy throughout the grounds. We treated everyone to delicious festive cupcakes, and the kids had a blast interacting with our furry pals Sophie and Jabu at the farm. Bingo stole the show, with winners enjoying sweet treats. And to top it off, we hosted an outdoor movie night under the stars.

The Resort was bouncing with egg-citement this Easter! The Reception received a festive makeover to welcome guests, complete with hopping Easter bunny decor. Plus, we all got together for a bring-and-braai that had everyone in high spirits! And let’s not forget how the Entertainment Team made sure that the weekend was jam-packed with fun activities for all to enjoy.

Our Entertainment Team puts in dedicated effort to ensure that every guest, regardless of age, finds something to enjoy. Whether it's bingo, traditional games, or painting, there's an exciting activity waiting for everyone at Manzi Monaté.

Our Bring and Braai is all about kicking back and having a good time. It's where our staff and guests mingle, enjoying some tasty homemade pap and sauce. And it’s an opportunity for the kiddos to have some fun, splashing around the pool and zipping down the slide.

Motivation: Wimpie has a mission to share knowledge and rally the Team, all in pursuit of making Manzi Monaté the best medium-sized Resort and a place for crafting unforgettable memories - for all guests and the Team. Already diving into action, Wimpie has been working hand-in-hand with the ground Team.

Motivation: "Coming together is the beginning. Keeping together is progress. Working together is a success.” Annerine stepped into her role, taking over from the previous Finance Administrator. She's set to bring fresh organisation to Admin and Reception, lending a hand at the Kiosk when required. Annerine's vibrant personality and steadfast beliefs signal a bright future ahead for the Resort.

Motivation: Prince assumed the role of stock controller at Manzi Monaté with the aim of bringing new innovations to the Resort. His expertise promises to elevate Manzi Monaté to new heights in the procurement, control, and distribution of stock.

Motivation: William was temporarily employeed last year and has since secured a permanent position at Manzi Monaté. He's an exceptional employee, skilled in various tasks, and excels under pressure. In addition, we greatly value the care and friendliness William extends to both guests and fellow team-members.

Motivation: Stephina recently became a permanent employee at Manzi Monaté. Her commitment to ensuring guests enjoy the best possible service and have everything they need to create lasting memories, together with her excellent work ethic make us very proud to have her as part of the Team.
