Muis brings with him a remarkable career journey, rooted in leadership, dedication, and a passion for excellence. His path began with 20 years of service in the South African National Defence Force, where he retired with the distinguished rank of Colonel. He then dedicated 11 years under the Leadership of VRS.
He later joined First Group, serving as General Manager of Magalies Park, and additionally took on the responsibilities of Area Manager, supporting multiple resorts across the Northwest, Limpopo, and Mpumalanga regions.
In March 2025, Muis officially returned to the family, taking the reins at Crystal Springs with a clear and compelling vision:
“My leadership is grounded in principles of ownership, stewardship, and productivity. I believe in visibility and accountability, managing by walking around, fostering respect, and cultivating a culture of commitment. I am passionate about empowering others through shared knowledge and open communication. After all, information is knowledge, and knowledge is power — so empower yourself!”
