Unit 55 Maintenance
Extensive maintenance was conducted at Unit 55. During this process, the unit was repainted with a modern and fresh colour scheme to enhance its overall appeal. This approach will be implemented across all units as part of our ongoing extensive maintenance programme.

Parking Area
Damaged laths and rotten gum poles were replaced at the A block parking. In addition to this, all parking areas have been repaired where needed and treated with creosote.

Unit 205 Ceiling Replacement
To enhance guest comfort, the thatch roof in Unit 205 has been fully replaced with a ceiling. During routine checks we noticed some natural wildlife activity in the ceiling space, so the area was refurbished and properly sealed. The unit is now refreshed and ready for an even more enjoyable stay. The project will continue in 2026.

Upgrade Power-Backup Systems
As part of our continuous infrastructure improvements, we have upgraded the back-up power systems supporting the security camera fibre network. This enhancement ensures uninterrupted monitoring capability and contributes to a safer, more reliably managed environment for all guests and residents.

Operational Manager
It is with great pleasure that we introduce Jaenray Groenewald, our new Operational Manager. Jaenray has been part of the company for some time, having worked in the commercial sector at Mabalingwe Nature Reserve as well as Crystal Springs Mountain Lodge. He will also be overseeing the daily operations of all departments. We are excited about the expertise and experience he brings to the table and look forward to the positive impact he will have across the Resort.

We are excited to introduce new additions to the Commercial Department: Lucky Nkomo, our new Commercial Manager; Thapelo Sambo, our new Duty Manager; and Macdonaldson Khoza, our new Chef.
