We’ve installed a brand-new pipeline for the borehole to handle the water pressure more effectively. This upgrade ensures a more reliable water supply throughout the Resort.

Patio Roof Repairs
Some of the wooden patio structures needed urgent attention, so we stepped in to replace broken poles and damaged sections. The refreshed patios are now ready for you to enjoy those peaceful outdoor moments.

Reception Refresh
The Reception area has had a little makeover! We repaired and painted the feature wall behind the counter in a calming grey and rehung the RCI awards to brighten up the space and give you a warm welcome from the moment you arrive.

To help our Reception Team serve you better, we’ve raised the counter height slightly. This small change makes a big difference - allowing them to work more comfortably and greet you with even bigger smiles.

Welcoming Our New Resort Manager

We are delighted to welcome Martin Griessel as the new Resort Manager at Sudwala Lodge.
Martin brings with him a wealth of experience, having worked across various Resorts since starting his hospitality career in 2007. From his early days at Mabalingwe Nature Reserve to leadership roles at Little Eden, Mount Amanzi, and Kridzil, Martin’s journey has been marked by dedication and a passion for uplifting both the Teams and Resorts. His management philosophy is simple yet powerful: To leave every Resort better than he found it, both in operations and in people.
Martin is excited to lead the Sudwala Team and is fully committed to bringing his best to our beautiful Resort. We look forward to this new chapter under his capable leadership.
